Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 August 2026

VJONA (“we”, “us”) operates the website vjona.com from Switzerland. We take your privacy seriously and process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/nLPD) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. What data we collect

  • “Ask for Vjona near you” form: first name, last name, street address (optional), postal code and email address.
  • Contact form and email: the contact details and message content you send us.
  • Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up.
  • Technical data: our website runs on Shopify, which automatically collects standard technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited, cookies necessary for the site to function and for aggregate statistics).

2. Why we use it

  • To understand where demand for Vjona is located and decide where to distribute next (postal codes from the request form).
  • To answer your messages and requests.
  • To send you our newsletter, only if you signed up — you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

3. Who has access

Your data is stored and processed by Shopify Inc., our website and hosting provider, acting as processor on our behalf. Shopify may process data outside Switzerland; it provides appropriate safeguards recognised under Swiss and EU data protection law. Beyond that, we share your data only if the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

Demand-form and contact data: as long as needed for the purpose above, at most 24 months after our last exchange. Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe. Technical logs: per Shopify's standard retention.

5. Your rights

You can at any time request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to its processing, or ask for it in a portable format. Write to contact@vjona.com — we answer promptly. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

6. Cookies

The site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function (language preference, security) and Shopify's aggregate analytics. You can limit cookies in your browser settings; the site remains usable.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves; the current version is always available on this page.
